In 2019, I found myself in a position that many people experience every day—I was moving to a new city and starting a new chapter of life in Charlotte, North Carolina. Like many newcomers, I had questions, concerns, and a long list of unknowns. Which neighborhoods would fit my lifestyle? Where could I find the right schools, shopping, and community resources? How could I make one of the biggest financial decisions of my life while navigating a city I barely knew?
Fortunately, I was blessed to work with a real estate professional who did far more than unlock doors and show homes. They listened. They educated. They guided. They took the time to understand my needs and helped me confidently navigate the home-buying process. That experience left a lasting impression on me.
As I settled into Charlotte and continued building my career in education, I often reflected on the impact that great service can have during a major life transition. Buying a home isn’t just a transaction—it’s a journey filled with hopes, dreams, questions, and important decisions.
Years later, after serving more than 27 years in public education and leadership, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. My goal was simple: to provide the same level of care, professionalism, and guidance that was shown to me when I arrived in Charlotte. Today, through Roam2Own, I have the opportunity to help individuals and families turn their dreams of homeownership into reality.
